About collaborating with BalletCollective:

BalletCollective is an adventurous, interdisciplinary production company. By its nature, BalletCollective consists of a rotating group of artists and collaborators. We operate on a project structure and commission artists based on the unique needs of each production. Each BalletCollective project is created by a trio of artists: a choreographer, composer, and Source Artist from outside dance.

Choreographers are selected via our open call, the Commission for Developing Choreographers, which is open to choreographers of all ages and career stages. Accepted choreographers work with the BalletCollective team to identify a composer and Source Artist, and will also reference this database.

Based on the needs of each project, BalletCollective may hold open-call auditions for dancers.
